Dayton Police 5K Fun Run/Walk

On Saturday October 24th, 2026 we will be gathering with our members of surrounding communities for a 5K event in which all are welcome. This event is not a competition. It is going to be runner, walker and stroller friendly. This event is a way for our department to support our local communities in a different way. We want to remember those whom we have lost to cancer in the past, support those who are currently fighting and honor those who have won their battles. This event is family friendly and all participants are permitted to wear Halloween costumes as long as they're family friendly. If you are interested but not able to attend, on the registration page there is a drop down box where you can select to donate rather than participate in the run. Every little bit helps. All of the proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the American Cancer Society of Cincinnati. The event will begin at 1301 4th Avenue in Dayton, Kentucky (Manhattan Harbour). The event will utilize our recently completed riverwalk and go from Manhattan Harbour to Queen City Riverboats and back. Blue Catty's Bar and Grille will also be open after the event and will be hosting a dine and donate event for anyone who is interested. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Sergeant Linkugel at [email protected] mailto:[email protected].
